2011 BEEEG CHARITY DRIVE Clap

Yet another very successful event has been completed ! Thanks to Hendrik and Leon for organizing the 2011 event.
At least this year the curse of bad weather was broken. :-) We can now officially say that we have seen mist, dust storms, rain (oh and did I mention rain), extreme wind -and heat. So mother nature finally (although it was hot as hell) granted us a lovely sunny day.

To all those who participated, organized and supported - you are saluted once again. Well done ! You made a real difference once again.

Please post your pictures on our facebook page of email them to us.

I am thankful and honored to know you.

Till the next BEEEG CHARITY DRIVE in 2012.

RESPECT

2010 : This year has started with a BANG ! We have already seen an anonymous deposit to the charity bank account. We have been promised another huge pledge and it looks like - well by the way things are going now - that 2010 will be a great year for this event. Let's hold thumbs !

The event will this year take place on SUNDAY - 10th October 2010 (10-10-10) and will depart at 08h30 from the Engen 1 Stop (outgoing).

Here's a little teaser of why we do this !

"Money will buy a kind dog, but only kindness will make him wag his tail."

2010 BEEEG CHARITY DRIVE

And so it happened. I hardly slept last night and was up at 4h30am this morning, we packed the truck Value Logistics so kindly sponsored for us and we left for the Winelands Engen 1Stop.

At first it was quiet and I almost started stressing but after a few minutes - they came. Bikers from all over. Despite the weather, the wind, the cold
October, Sunday morning weather, they came !

It is such an overwhelming feeling to see so many people who care, so many people who open their hearts, despite all odds, so many people who show kindness and care.

Today I saw the kindness of the biking community, the kindness of friends, family, loved ones and most importantly - the kindness YOU have displayed to me. THANK YOU to each and every person who made the BEEEG CHARITY DRIVE 2010 such a fantastic success. To all who rode along, all who sponsored, all who arranged -and organised, all who worked so hard for the past 4 months.

To each and every person who contributed - T H A N K   Y O U ! from the bottom of my heart and the hearts of the staff and most importantly the children of die Herberg Children's Home in Robertson.

Please support our kind sponsors who made this day possible and post your pictures on our facebook page of email them to us.

I am thankful and honored to know you.

Till the next BEEEG CHARITY DRIVE.

2009 : Despite the extreme weather we had more than 200 bikers and their families for a day of fun.

We managed to collect almost R 20 000 worth of toiletries as donations and a whopping R 8 728.00 in cash for the cause. Well done to each and every person who made this possible.

A HUGE thank you to each and every one who braved the wet weather, cold -and dangerous roads to make this a day to remember ! This will go down as a very good example of bikers that care - no matter what the conditions.

The Herberg has also extended their thank you to each and every one for their support.
